Youth Development League Event 2

Along with Kirkintilloch Olympians, our junior athletes formed an East Dunbartonshire team for the Youth Development League. In the 2nd event on 22nd May our U13 & U15 team came 5th out of 8 teams in our YDL Division 2.  Well done everyone for this team result.  All of your individual results contributed points for our team place.

There were also some excellent individual results, including:

• Elliot Duff 2nd in U15 800m
• Finlay Ross-Davie 1st in U13 1,500m
• George Harrand 2nd in U13 Shot
• George, Murray, Matthew Stewart & Lewis Hale 2nd in U13 Relay
• James Cathro 1st in U15 1,500m, and a brave run in the Hurdles after arriving just a few minutes before his start,
• Jude McMahon 2nd in U13 High Jump, in his first attempt at the event!
